W230 Okay, so if you've read the reviews on other websites; yes, in flash mode the images can get blurry if you don't hold the camera absolutely still. But in every other setting, the camera does deliver. The quality is crystal clear - even in the 8MP mode, though, of course not as good as the 12MP mode. Another thing, videos are not high def but are not grainy either at best quality and zoom is respectable for a digicam. All in all, for this price I don't think there is a better camera on the market.

Sony DSC-T900 camera Excellent!! Great HD video. Very good pictures. We also purchased the 4 GB memory stick (I recommend it). Touch screen on the camera makes life very easy. Light weight camera, stick it in your shirt pocket and go!! The charger is small and user friendly. All in All I love it!! I want to find some cons for you.....maybe picture quality (When blowing up) loses some quality (Not that much). I would buy it again if needed.
Fantastic Camera Recently got this camera after my wife lost our Samsung TL34HD (which still isn't a bad camera) however this one is light years above anything I have seen! For a point and shoot (literally) it takes amazing pictures. The iSCN feature does a perfect job adjusting to your environment. I just took some pictures today using the High Speed shutter mode and it really looks like you are not only there but can envision what will happen next. You can't forget the video ... amazing also. I do wish it had a pause recording option (the Samsung did). Takes video in HD quality - I don't have an HD TV but the video is clear and crisp both on the camera and on my PC. Definitely get a spare battery (does drain quickly since the LCD is your view finder) and a High Speed memory card.

Great pocket camera Specifically wanted a camera that would 1) fit in my pocket 2)have image stabilization 3) could take pictures, movies in a darkened environment. Could not be happier with the Sony Cybershot DSCW120! My intent was to take the camera to a concert, and (hopefully) get pictures with the band. So, concealment (pocketsized) was an issue, as was blurring and dark environment. Pictures were a complete success. And the camera itself is extremely easy to use- point and shoot settings. So easy, even a lead singer can use it (to take my picture with the drummer). Another fun feature is the smile shutter. In this setting, a picture is automatically taken when a subject smiles. Video quality is great (again, mainly used in concert setting), and battery lasts a long time, and is easily recharged. I would completely recommend this camera.

You can even use it to transfer data from one computer to another (like a memory stick)...

Low quality camera I bought this Sony DSC-S980 to replace my broken Canon 770IS. The reason I decided to take this one is that it cost me only 150$ (compared to $220 for the Canon)and it came from Sony - a famous brand name. However, right after I took the very first pictures, I was completely disapointed!Even though this was a 12.1-mega-pixel camera, the images looked worse than that of Canon with 10 mega pixes. The output images always looked somewhat dark (even turn on flash already). And so is the video quality, lots of noise. There were not many options to choose when take pic in different conditions likes Canon. It takes a long time (2-3s) among pictures when capture or preview. Conclusion: if you do not care much a about quality, this camera may be a good choice for its price and brand name. Otherwise, I would recommend you look for other cameras (I would get a Canon 1100IS for almost the same price but big difference in quality)

720p video clips does not play in PS3 I bought a Sony CyberShot (DSC-W290) specifically because it records 720p video (MPEG4). I recorded few clips and inserted the Memory Stick Pro-Duo into PS3 (and on Sony HDTV). It recognizes all my pictures but the video folders are empty. Either 720p standard or fine videos does not show in the folder to play. Only the video recorded with the lowest resolution (VGA) shows up and able play them (I was experimenting recording with all 3 options). I called Sony's camera Customer Service and they told me to use a different Memory Stick which I did (different brands) but same results. They told me that something is wrong with my PS3 and told me to contact PS3 Customer Service. I did that and they are telling any MPEG4 video should play on PS3 (no fireware updates needed) and telling me to call Sony's Camera Cust. Service. I tried connecting the USB to PS3 and playing the videos on the PS3 but still no luck.
Camera Purchase An outstanding product, good price, and fast service. No complaints. I will be purchasing again from Amazon.com.
Great Camera! This camera replaced an older Cyber-shot. I checked out lots of other sites and reviews of cameras before purchasing this one. And I am glad I did. It takes excellent photos, and is lightweight/small enough to carry in a pocket. Love the bronze color too!

Mixed review Sony makes a great camera .. I own several..but I will not buy another small digital that does not use an SD card as an option. This is becoming a standard in point and shoot digitals and I will not buy any more sony pro duo memory sticks. Sony is losing out on my future business if this does not change. .. I hope someone from SONY reads these reviews. IF you agree... let future buyers know as well
Sony Cybershot Digital Camera I purchesed it as a Birthday gift 4 my friend..she was speechless ..she simply loved it...The Camera takes beautiful pics also the price is very reasonable :) it's just a perfect gift & i deffinitly recomend it. I also purchesed a pink 1 for me :) so KOOL..love it.

Good camera, good picture quality but not a great one. After having great experience with Sony W50 (7 mega pixel), I decided to buy a T series. Inspired by its looks and size. Ans considering the price difference and more pixels I was expecting better quality than my previous W50. But I must say I am disappointed with its picture quality. It cannot compare with the sharpness and rich color result of W50 even though it is supposed to have tons of features (as Sony claims) to improve picture quality. The AI in fully automatic mode is not smart either. At times, none of the pictures of an entire event can be considered perfect, in fact most pictures are blurry or out of focus. It mostly happen when taking pictures indoor with not enough light. If you are not a photo quality freak, and looks and size is priority then go for it. If you value quality photos, then go for bigger models like W series.
Sony does it!!! Loved the camera ..its really sleek....pictures r amazing...only prob is its too sleek so have to hold it real carefully while taking pics!!!
